M&A questions
Selling your business: your questions answered.
Questions
Clear answers, before you decide
What are your fees?
R45,000 as a once-off engagement fee, plus 3% of the transaction value when the deal closes. No monthly retainer or hourly billing. The written mandate sets out the terms before you proceed.
Who do you approach to buy my business?
A closed group of private investors we know personally. We do not list your business publicly; we approach suitable buyers directly.
How do you protect confidentiality?
Your identity is not disclosed until the relevant parties have signed a strict NDA. Initial buyer discussions are on a no-names basis and detailed information is shared in stages.
Do I have to use both tools before contacting you?
No. Free Valuation and Sellability Score are optional starting points. You can use the Sell my Business form immediately if you would prefer a confidential conversation.
What happens to my employees and legacy?
We select buyers who intend to preserve the operating business rather than break it into pieces. Staff treatment and continuity are addressed in buyer selection, negotiation and the transaction documents.
How long does a sale take?
Private business sales often take several months. Preparation, buyer suitability, financing, due diligence and any required approvals affect timing. We keep you informed and do not promise a guaranteed completion date.
What does the free valuation show?
An indicative value range based on the information you provide. It is not a formal valuation, buyer offer or guarantee of what you will receive.
Do you work outside Gauteng?
Yes. We serve business owners in all nine provinces, with offices in Pretoria and Sandton.
